\"\"James Borris performing as DJ HouseHead<\/strong> is a native Washingtonian, who starting spinning records at the age of 14.\u00a0 His young career started playing Hip-Hop & R&B music for private parties, weddings, and other events.\u00a0 It wasn\u2019t until he moved to New Jersey to attend college did he find himself with a roommate who happened to be a DJ and specialized in House and Reggae.\u00a0 James had not listened to House music much before and what he had heard he didn\u2019t care for, but House music was very popular in Jersey, and nearby New York.\u00a0 He would House music everywhere up north. It was on the radio, at the college parties and even in the dorms.\u00a0 Slowly it started to grow on him, and in a short time he was hooked.\u00a0 He began mixing House and learning from some of Jersey\u2019s best; his favorite being Tony Humphries.\u00a0 House music became and addiction and name DJ HouseHead was selected for himself.<\/p>\n

HouseHead likes to spin House in a way that is unique and memorable.\u00a0 He prefers\u00a0to play Deep House, Vocal House, Soulful House, Afro House and other selections that fit into is program. A program that will take you on a journey through multiple House music genres and energy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After leaving Upsala, James mostly played at small private parties, weddings, etc.\u00a0 He made his club debut at the Mirage nightclub formerly known as the Chapter III.\u00a0 He opened for \u201cFunk Regulator Celo\u201d and continue to perform at private parties and functions in the DC area.\u00a0 After a 10 year hiatus, (spending time with family) HouseHead came back to the scene starting with a 2 hour show on www.handzonradio.fm that he maintained for 10 years. It is here where he met his partner The Quietboy.\u00a0\u00a0 HouseHead and Quietboy performed for years in Baltimore, DC, and Miami as Beneath The Underground.<\/p>\n
